A full interior refurbishment of the terminal hall: better circulation, new lighting and a calmer, more comfortable wait for every passenger.

The hall had to keep operating while it was renewed, so the work was staged around the flow of flights. A new timber-and-brass ceiling brings the height down to a human scale and carries the lighting; seating is arranged in islands with clear sightlines to the gates; finishes were chosen for the traffic of thousands of passengers a day.
